Cambodia Water Filtration Study

Providing water filters and hygiene training to employees resulted in health improvement (household diarrhea rates fell from ~30% to ~5% over the previous two weeks) and economic benefit (a typical household saved ~64,000 Riels on water and medical costs per month) for the employees and their households.

The manufacturing facility also benefited from employees missing fewer days of work (~25 fewer employees missing work each day due to diarrhea) and fewer employees experiencing diarrhea while at work.
